WhiteSpider celebrates its ten-year anniversary with a new brand identity

WhiteSpider, a global leader in software-defined infrastructure, is pleased to announce the launch of its new brand identity in celebration of its ten-year anniversary today.

The Leeds based advanced technology services specialist was founded in October 2012 by industry experts, Phil Lees and Dave Chadwick. Their decision to build the company was driven by their desire to develop long term, trusted client relationships based on ethical business practices and trusted partnerships – and listening to what customers really need.

This approach, that the founders saw as different to most organisations, led to the naming of the company. With a real passion for mountaineering as well as technology, they named the company after the north face ice field on the Eiger mountain in Switzerland, As one of the most technically challenging climbs in the world, the key attributes required for such a climb run deep into WhiteSpider’s core values; trust, strategic approach, deep technical expertise and tenacity in the face of challenges that has propelled the company to earn respect from high-profile long-term clients as well as vendors such as Cisco and VMware.

Working with customers on their most challenging and innovative digital transformation projects is our sweet spot and with our own in-house software development team, we can tailor solutions to customer’s exact requirements to achieve tangible benefits” said Dave Chadwick, Founder and Operations Director.

Underpinning its commitment for growth, WhiteSpider’s leadership team has been strengthened to include Mike Sudder, Operations Manager and more recently, David Goff, joined as Head of Sales. David having spent over 20 years at Cisco, most recently as Head of Enterprise Sales.

Phil Lees, Founder and Managing Director commented: “Over the years since Dave and I started on this journey, technology has transformed, and our business has evolved. The principles on which we founded the business, however, are unchanged. As such, this milestone is a great opportunity to raise our brand profile as we grow, whilst ensuring that the values on which we founded WhiteSpider remain central to our business.”

A demonstration of the growth and development that the company is undergoing is another landmark accreditation for WhiteSpider, having just this week achieved ‘Hybrid Cloud Managed Services Provider’, only the second European company to do so. This makes WhiteSpider the only Cisco Gold Software-Defined infrastructure Provider in Europe.
